Thank you for the tip about ear memory. I just last week finished my 4th semester of ear training and I have been thinking about using what I learned in class for knowing what note to play next and this tip really explains and clarifies my thinking on how to go about using these skills.
Also, Dr. Bottazzi recently sent me an encouraging note about performing and enjoying the music and forgetting the audience.
I really appreciated that and printed it out and stared at it while I was waiting to play at a recital last week and I had my best recital ever, so thanks so much for that.
